Research Summary: I am interested in methods for identifying and validating molecular biomarkers of cancer risk and response to treatment, particularly by combining data from multiple technologies. I am especially interested in technologies for measuring methylation and robust methods for analyzing methylation data. Current projects include the development of methods for translating methylation markers of drug response, identified in cell lines, to primary tumors. I am also pursuing techniques for supervised dimension reduction of expression and methylation data to improve marker signature development.
