Peng Huang Ph.D.

Research Summary: Dr. Huang's current research is computer-aided cancer early diagnosis using artificial intelligent/pattern recognition and machine learning approach to analyze complex big data coming from medical images. Dr. Huang holds a joint appointment at department of oncology (School of Medicine) and department of biostatistics (School of Public Heath). She is the primary biostatistics faculty in cancer imaging. She directs the Biostatistics core of ovarian cancer SPORE and previous founded Resource of the In Vivo Cellular and Molecular Imaging Center (ICMIC) and breast cancer SPORE Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Core.
